Hi, I'm having internet conections problems since I've installed my Deco E4R solution and I'm not sure if there is a Deco problem or an ISP problem.

The problem is that internet conection fails several times a day, and it recovers itself after two or trhee minutes.

Every time that internet fails, the DECO system log shows this type of warning:

Mon Jul 13 10:12:37 2020 user.warn IMPROXY: WARNING[mcast_recv_igmp@753]: Don't exist this Downstream VIF
Mon Jul 13 10:12:37 2020 user.warn IMPROXY: WARNING[mcast_recv_igmp@753]: Don't exist this Downstream VIF

Mon Jul 13 10:12:37 2020 user.warn IMPROXY: WARNING[mcast_recv_igmp@753]: Don't exist this Downstream VIF

How can I know if there is a problem with the Deco system or my Internet provider.

I'll appreciatte all your help.

@cavalvarez

Hello,

Please help confirm below info first and we will try to investigate further:

1. What is the current network diagram/layout? How many Deco device do you have in total, are all Deco E4s?

2. What is the LED status of the Deco E4 when you lost connection?

3. Try to simplify the network diagram, in other words, connect the main Deco to the modem only and connect your computer to the main Deco to verify whether it works well.

4. If still the same, please connect the computer to the modem, bypass the main Deco to test whether the network works stably.

Below are some suggestions you can give it a go.

1. Relocate the Deco nodes.

2. Swap the locations of the Deco, setup one satellite Deco to the main Deco.

3. Ensure the firmware is up to date.

May it help and have a nice day.
