Model: Archer C2300  
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 2.0.3 Build 20180611 Rel. 77668

I am using Archer C2300, Hardware V1, Firmware 2.0.3 Build 20180611 Rel. 77668.

 

I am located in India.

 

When I am not able to view my SSID, I have checked that my SSID is not hidden in my WiFi Setting. I cannot enable 5GHz, the option is grey and i cannot click on 5GHz to change my setting or enable it.

WiFi indication lights / LED on my router is on or it is showing my WiFi is on (please refer attached file). 

 

As per customer care representative I have updated my firmware to latest version.

Some users say try to hard reset but when I press and hold hard reset button it doest work.

 

Can someone help me with my problem?

Do you mean 5G is not available or both 2.4G and 5G are not visible? When you press the reset button on the C2300 to reset it, will the light change? If not, you may log into the web UI of the C2300 and go to System Tools-Factory Defaults to reset it for a try.

 

If none of these reset methods will make it work properly, there might be a hardware issue with it and you may need to contact the local tech support to check the warranty cause the device seems faulty.
