Does the extender accept special characters in the password from the host router?

My host router password contains special characters and I'm having difficulties in pairing the extender and I dont want to change the password on the multiple devices already connected just to check.

Hello,

 

We don't recommemd to have special characters in the password.

 

You can try to set up the range extender, if it still not working, you may still need to change the password of your router without special characters.
