Model: Archer AX50
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.8 Build 20200426 rel.65338

Upgrading from an Archer C7 which had bandwidth controls for the Guest WiFi.

It seems the Archer AX50 (running latest firmware) does not have bandwidth controls.

Is this correct?
If so, can this be added in a future firmware update?

@ZippyDan

Hello,

As far as I know, there is currently no plan to add the bandwidth control for the Guest Network. But your opinions will surely go to our developer and they may evaluate the feasibility later.

Sorry about that.

For someone following an upgrade path within the Archer model line, it seems to me that you should maintain at least the same level of functionality as older models.

Well, that's disappointing.  I had an Archer C7, hardware version 2, so I was not aware that it had been removed.

AX21 here and I was very surprised that a modern router didn't have throttling for Guest Network. Basic DD-WRT stuff from 13 years ago but can't use it on these routers.
