@Kreco OK. Thanks. So is this 1.3.6 stable? Any disadvantages in it?

Hello all, sorry to respond late.
For those who still encounter issues with the latest 1.3.5 official firmware on the Archer C6(EU)_V2, please kindly verify what is your exact issue but not just stating still issues or still not working, which will not help at all. It will be more convenient for us to help those who come across real issues more efficiently based on the sufficient information they provided, we hope our customers will understand. Thanks.
If there is still an issue or issues with the latest 1.3.5 beta, please confirm basic info as below:
1. What is the exact issue now, is the 2.4G wireless still unstable or 5G unstable or all 2.4G/5G/Wired connections are having issues?
2. Are all wireless devices or both wired and wireless devices experiencing the same dropout or just some special or old clients? When they got disconnected, is the wireless network of the Archer C6 still broadcasting or the wireless network is no longer available on all other devices as well?
3. If only the 2.4G wireless or 5G is not stable, try to modify the wireless settings on the Archer C6 first, such as wireless channel, channel width, which would help in some cases:

Thanks again for your time and patience.

I still have 2.4ghz issue with the latest 1.3.5 firmware
1. All devices connected to 2.4ghz loose conmection
2. Can see 2.4ghz ssid but no device is able to connect to the ssid.
3. 5ghz Wifi and ethermet connectivity work fine.
4. I connect through the 5ghz ssid and turn off and turn on 2.4ghz network and 2.4ghz works again
5. This issue happens very random. Sometime in a gap like 2days.
6. 2.4ghz is set to 20Mhz width and also channel is set to 6.
Please let me know if you need any further details?
Thanks

Hi Kevin,
The main issue I'm having is that the connection stops working every few seconds. I'm using Archer T4U to connect to my Archer C6 (EU) router.
To respond to your questions:
- I have no issues with 2.4G wireless and wired. I'm only having issues on the 5G band with 80 MHz channel width. If I set the channel width to 40 MHz the issue disappears but I'm not getting the full speed of my internet.
- Only my PC with the Archer T4U is experiencing issues. My smartphone (Pocophone F1) doesn't seem to be affected. The Wi-Fi connection doesn't actually drop, it stays connected, but no traffic can move.
- As I mentioned above, reducing the 5G channel width to 40 MHz resolves the issue but then it's too slow for me. Other settings I've tried is toggling TxBF,MU-MIMO and different channels, which made it neither better nor worse.
I've tried various drivers from default Microsoft to TP-Link ones but they didn't make any difference. The one exception is when I tried out Win7x64 drivers (my OS is Windows 10 2004 64-bit), the issue is not there but the hardware LED doesn't work. Here's a list of drivers that I've tried:
- Archer T4U V3_TP-Link driver_1030.22.0202.2018.zip
- Archer T4U(US)_V3_180427_Win.zip
- Archer T4U(USEU)_V3_181023_Win.zip
- Microsoft driver 1030.38.712.2019
As for the router firmware versions
1.3.0 | 5 GHz unstable |
1.3.1 | Connection stable, but no OneMesh support |
1.3.5 | 5 GHz unstable, |
1.3.6 | Connection stable, |
Let me know if you have further questions. I'm willing to do more extensive testing. Thanks.

Hello,
May I know which firmware version does your C6 run now? Is it 1.3.5 or 1.3.6 beta?
BTW, what is the exact issue when you mean custom IPv4 DNS is not applied? Did you use your own DNS server in the local network?
Thanks.

Currently running 1.3.5. Please disregard the DNS issue, it seems to be a configuration error on my side.

@Kevin_Z I can confirm - 1.3.1 and 1.3.6 beta are quite good - and I could care less about the OneMesh function. Problem manifests like this on 1.3.0, 1.3.4, 1.3.5: on 5GHz I get huge latency spikes on my laptop, every 7-8 seconds when testing the ping in cmd or any other software (doesn't happen on my iPhone or iPad) - to the point when it sometimes just drops connection/"connection timed out". Reverting to the beta fw's fixes these issues. Laptop works fine with other routers and with the beta firmwares and 1.2.1.
