Model: Deco M9 Plus

Hardware Version: V2

Firmware Version: 1.4.9 Build 20200324 Rel. 53529

Hi.

Two and a half months ago I bought a 3-pack. I find I need a fourth disk. To my surprise I was no longer able to find a supplier carrying the V2 version.

I specifically got me the V2, assuming that would be supported longer then the V1 version...

Since there seems to be a difference between V1 and V2 I am not comfortable mixing. Or is that silly?

Hello,

Thanks for bringing this up.

No worries that the Deco M9 Plus V2 won't be EOL and we will keep releasing new firmware in the future updates.

Due to the COVID-19, however, some areas may be short of supplies and you cannot buy it now, we hope you could wait for some time and be more patient with this.

BTW, the Deco M9 V1 and V2 can be mixed in the same mesh network and they are completely compatible.
