Evening all.

I am moving my Broadband to Plusnet Fibre, I am currently on Sky.  I told my Sky Router to open up and rout all ports to my UniFi Security Gateway as I have a full UniFi network with access points and switches.  I do not want their wireless or router, just their modem.

I bought a TP-Link AC1200 to do the same thing.   I have disabled the wireless, all the USB/printer sharing and need to tell it to forward all UDP and TCP ports to the IP address of my UniFi Security Gateway (192.168.1.2).  I beleieve I have done this, but is there a simpler option as I had to specify port 1-58890 or somethign simular.  Is there a better way like an option to select that turns it into a Bridge only modem?

Thanks for anybody who helps.

Alan

@AlanWooler

Hello, is the model number Archer C1200 or C6?

As per your description, it seems that changing the C1200 to Access Point mode will meet your requirement, you may refer to the below guide to configure it:

https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/1384/ (Case 2)

May it helps.

@Kevin_Z Thnak you for your reply.

I think though the page you linked to is how to disable the modem, router & DHCP Server and turn it into a wireless access point.  This is not what I wanted at all.

To confirm, I want to Turn OFF the router funcation and basically turn this into a modem that moves all external traffic to a single internal IP so my other hardware firewall can process everything for my network.
