Model: Archer C6
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: v1.1.5 build 20191112

Hi!

I have a problem with port forwarding on the Archer C6 router. The lowest numbered ports (eg 8081, 3456, etc.) have ports forwarding working. However, higher ports (for example, 34567, 34599) are not being forwarded. I have already tested port forwarding on a specific website for these tests. Is there a limit on the value of the port to be forwarded on Archer C6? Would the highest door be 65536?

Test in "https://canyouseeme.org/":

Thanks.

@lsbbr

Hello,

Please verify below and we will see how to fix it:

1. Which device or service do you open this port 34599 for, is it a web server or security camera? Ensure the corresponding service port on that server or camera is opened correctly first, and try to confirm if there is any firewall on it, disable it if there is one.

2. What if you try a smaller port number for this device, will that work?

3. Use the WAN IP+port number on a LAN PC to test if the port is opened.

Good day.

Hello. I have been researching and am suspecting that external access to port 34599 is not working due to ISP block higher ports. Therefore, I will use lower ports. Thank you for your support.
