Hello:  We currently have 2 access points in the house, 1 connects to an access point in barn for camera, the 2nd connects to another access point at a driveway gate for camera.  The house access points are currently connected to a TP-LINK AC1750 router.  If I replace the router with M5 system, will the access points still be able to function properly, meaning will the M5 system be able to recognize/distinguish between them as the router does now?

Thank you

Hello,

Yes, we can connect your existing access point to the Deco network via Wi-Fi or wired to extend the Wi-Fi range, and Deco will act like a normal router to provide internet to those devices.

However, Deco can't build a mesh network with those non-Deco devices. The Deco Mesh is the technology only used on TP-Link Deco products for the Mesh network.

Good days.
