Hello,

Yes, you can connect all the 5 Deco units to the front-end router with Ethernet cables via a switch.

If there is no router but only a modem in your network, it is suggested to add them like below:
Modem > main Deco M4 (router mode) -- Switch-- Ethernet -- Deco 2
                                                                          \-- Ethernet -- Deco 3
                                                                           \-- Ethernet -- Deco 4

                                                                            \-- Ethernet -- Deco 5

If there is already a router in front, you may configure below:
Modem > existing router -- Switch-- Ethernet -- Deco 1 (Access Point)
                                                         \-- Ethernet -- Deco 2
                                                         \-- Ethernet -- Deco 3

                                                          \-- Ethernet -- Deco 4

                                                          \-- Ethernet -- Deco 5

Hopefully, that answers your question but let us know if you need more details.

Does the router function of deco work well when connecting all the decos to the main one through the swicth lan ?
