Help with remote access W8961N V3
Hello
Please I need your help guys with my home router, I have W8961N v3
I set up ddns account in the management access section and I checked ACl by putting both interface lan and wan enabled.
When I try to connect to it on the same laptop that's connected to the router via browser by example.ddns.net it opens normally and everything is fine but when I try to use it in a different location like my workplace and type in the browser example.ddns.net it doesnt open at all.
Could you please guide me if I missed something here?
Thank you

Good Day,
For your case, could you please check the following information:
- If the DDNS is not working, how about using the WAN IP address directly showing under the status page?
- When you try to ping the DDNS name, did it return with the same WAN IP address?
- And what kind of DDNS did you use?
Thank you~

Thank you for your time to reply sir
Im using noip services
When I log into my account on noip I find updated ip address same as my router which means ddns is working and communicates with the router prerfectly and if I try to use ddns address on the same computer linked to the router it opens normal no problem however on a different network it wont.
I dont know what ports are normally opened on the router by default so I can try to use if it works
Example :
Example.ddns.net:xxxx
I tried 80, 8080, 443 but nothing happens
P.S: plz note that on the same computer wired to the router it works without specifying any port just putting example.ddns.net in the browser it opens the config page of the router.
Thank you so much and have a good day

Good day.
In this way, Did you try to use the WAN IP address to access the router from a different network as well?
And can I have a picture of your ACL setting for remote management?
May I know your current firmware about the TD-W8961N?
And how long have you had the router and is this the first time that you had this problem?
Thank you~
