[Deco X60] VLAN tagging for guest WiFi network in AP mode
I just got the Deco X60 (3 nodes) and so far am mostly happy with it performance-wise.
Feature-wise though, since I use it only in AP mode, I see that most of the configurability options go away when not in router mode.
I understand that many of these don't make sense if not routing, such as QoS, but VLAN tagging is _very_ important for a guest network.
For such an expensive set of APs, I'd expect a basic service like this to be availble.
The VLAN tagging is available for router mode from what I've read, so this should be a small effort to enable for AP mode as all the system support is already present in the firmware.
Please implement support for this or provide a workaround as soon as possible.

Hello, thanks a lot for your valued suggestions.
Currently, there are not any plans to eventually add the VLAN tagging when the Deco works in AP mode but we do agree that this would be a great feature to have.
This will be forwarded as a feature request to our developers for consideration. Thank you again for your feedback.

I think it will work, but only if you have the Deco in Router mode.
I don't... so cannot use VLAN tagging at all for the "guest" network... basically there is zero value in a 'guest' network for the Deco in AP mode.
I'd settle for access to ssh access to the router. I bought the product, let me configure it how I want!

@p0s1x Thanks I'll check it out, but pretty sure AP mode guest wifi isn't tagged to a VLAN or it wouldn't be able to see my router and access the Internet.

@Septor Hello, someone found a solution for the guest network to be in a separate vlan. I have a basic Mikrotik router with vlans configured on it that have different access rights through the firewall. I wanted access points from the same vendor but they don't support 802.11ax yet.

@d3bu9 Cool. So what's the solution? Are you saying the guest WIFI is tagged?

Just like p0s1x said,... Can someone else, that runs their Deco X60 in AP mode, go to the web interface and download the debug log to verify that it does list the guest vlan number in it?
Also, I found this post has some good info in it. Seems as though the guest vLAN is always 591 in the Decos be default.

@Septor Did you figure this out? I just saw this thread, found 591 as my guest vlan in the logs, but the traffic coming out of the deco in AP mode isn't tagged.

@Mike1234 it's not tagged in router mode, either, unless they're using something other than 591. I'm talking to TP-Link about this now, but so far they just say it can't do it. It can do it in backhaul mode, but that's no good to me.
