Deco M5 1.4.7 Firmware Update

Has anyone else updated their Deco M5 with the latest firmware:. 1.4.7. I haven't noticed any real improvement yet after upgrade. What I did notice is they still haven't added the ability to select channels....this lack of functionality and ongoing issues is making me return the Deco M5's.

Thanks @Chiswick_Singh for his professional and valued suggestions on this changing channel concern.
We will soon release an official firmware to allow you to change the wireless security type on the Deco system in weeks, as for disabling the DHCP feature when Deco is working at AP mode, we will also give you the option on the later firmware updates in the future.
As for the changing channel request, just as Chiswick_Singh stated, this is how the Deco mesh system builds that it is conjunction of 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks, so the channel is not manually configurable. While our developers are working on this and will publish new official firmware in the near future, which will optimize the current channeling picking mechanism, it is suggested to wait for the new updates and confirm if that will help address any of your concerns.

I have V2 still on 1.2.4 because I've been put off updating by all the issues people were having.
Did you upgrage from 1.4.X?
Has anyone else got any comments on this version?
I can't find any information about this version anywhere...

@dk61 I havet done upgrade to 1.4.7. I lost all my configuration. M5 is in another area.

@dk61 I was notified for this update for only 3 of my 5 decos. Is the firmware available for download so I can run a manual update on the others do you know?

updated 6 x Deco M5 to the 1.4.7 and have not seen/noticed any change whatsoever - neither good or bad.
tbh - i am not at all sure what exactly has been modified from 1.4.2

Version seems more stable.
I use the M5's in router config, with previous version I had problems with internet connection (Wifi connection without internet access) a few times (1-3) a week. Had to reboot the Deco's to fix it.
With the new firmware this didn't happen anymore (so far).
Indeed, waiting for the option to manually configure the channel. Support told they expect the feature this quarter...

@dk61 Had 1.4.7 for several weeks now without issue pretty much across the board. My only gripe is the lack of functionality in the Web interface.
