Hi,

 

I contacted the tp-link customer support and they failed to solve my technical problem. Now they ignore my requests. - Then I tried to contact the sales department. Same result: ignoring. I tried to find contact data of the management and I failed. The story is running since March 2020. Would like to solve it finally.

 

Do you have a good idea what I could do (except returning the router back to the store, that is the ultimate option).

 

Whom at tp-link I could talk to, who feels responsible?

May I know is there something wrong with the Archer VR2800?

Have you used to contacted via phone, live chat, or email support? Or Do you have any reference number?

I am living near Frankfurt, Germany. The communication was via e-mail. There is one central service mail address:

support.de@tp-link.com

 

What is the problem with Archer VR2800? - We have some old, non-digital phones here. There was no problem to use them with our former router. Still today, if we switch back to the old one, it is possible to use the phones. However, Archer VR2800 is unable to connect. After some trials the tp-link service recommended to change the router into a new one since they reckoned the hardware might have a problem. We changed - same problem with new one. Then service asked for the configuration of our former router - we forwarded it and never again heard anything from the service. We sent the configuration data at 15th of June 2020!

 

Actually, I put it onto my this weeks to-do-list to return the Archer to the dealer and to replace it by a Fritzboxx. Good timing, your feedback! Thx for your support, hope I can keep the Archer.

Did you also have Archer VR2800 and want to connect the IP phone to the modem but it failed to work?

For the old, non-digital phones, are they connected to Archer VR2800 by DSL cable? If yes, I guess the model is Archer VR2800V, not Archer VR2800 since the later did not support VOIP function;

May I know is there a major issue with the Archer VR2800?

Have you used to reached through telephone, live visit, or email uphold? Or on the other hand Do you have any reference number?

The issue I described earlier already. And I communicated via mail only. And I replaced VR2800 by Fritz Box already. Problem solved for me.
