M4 WPS security clarification please

Hardware Version: V2

Firmware Version: 1.4.2 Build 20200727 Rel. 37987

Just purchased an M4 Deco system and all set up and working. My question is about the WPS function. WPS itself is often recognised as being a security risk. Is the M4 usage of WPS an issue? I think I saw somewhere that, if used, it is only active for 2 minutes. Does this mean that it turns itself off and is, therefore, not a risk?

Hello, thanks a lot for sharing your opinion on this WPS feature of the Deco device.

We actually released a new firmware (1.4.2) which has enhanced the overall security on the Deco system, including the WPS, it is suggested to update it for any security concerns.
