Model: Archer AX11000
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

Any word of when the new firmware supporting onemesh for the AX11000 will be coming out? Soon isn't a definitive answer and for months that is the answer being provided here in this forum. Last update was in March/20.

Hi, the developer does provide a beta version for the Onemesh firmware for the AX11000, you can install it on yours if you want to build up an Onemesh network with an existing Onemesh range extender. Get the download link from the below thread:

https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/261318

The official version will be available soon, you can wait for the official version if you don't want to use the beta firmware.

Thanks a lot.

Hello, sorry that there is currently no exact date or time expectation for the new firmware supporting Onemesh on the AX11000, it is suggested to keep an eye on the official website to get more updates.

Don’t hold your breath I have been waiting since March 2019 after I bought 2 of these in January 2019 and was told it would be out in a few months as every other brand had this feature except TP-Link and now we are in March 2021 !!!!! Same with the RE650 V2. I bought 3 RE650 V1’s and then was told these were the best TP-Link has but will never be mesh compliant and I will have to wait for the V2. This was in December 2017 and yes we are in March 2021 !!!!!

@IbelieveWIcanFI

And you won't get an answer from Kevin Z. It took almost three months for him to reply to me in another thread about this very issue. TP-Link will bury this thread like the others looking for information of the status of the OneMesh coming to the AX11000.

Also, anything Kevin Z says needs to be treated with a liberal dose of skepticism.

No more TP-Link products for me, as I, and many, many others, have been waiting a year for this feature only to be constantly mislead by Kevin "The Misleading" Z.
