I'm planning to buy a Deco X60 mesh system. I'm not sure if I should upgrade my existing modem (ISP PROVIDED) to a wifi-6 router, like the AX50. 

Pls advise if this setup helps or should I leave it as it is.

Hi,

 

Agree with McFly said, if you want to use the Deco mesh, it is suggested to disable the wireless connection on the existing router, or you may simply change it into bridge or modem only mode, configure the main Deco as the router.

If you're installing a mesh you want to turn off the existing WiFi on the router, or replace the router entirely.
