Internet Connection - Ethernet PPPoE

Hi, If i connect the Ethernet cable to my laptop, I am able to connect using the Username and Password provided by my ISP.

However, when i try to connect with the TPLink Router using the same Username and Password, I am not able to connect.

Have checked the Username and Password - It is correct (casesensitive, spaces, special characters - all checked).

This is the error log. Can anyone help?

@siddeb

Hello,

Double confirm the username and password again by dialing up on your computer directly, then try again to create a PPPoE connection on the C20 router if that works.

If it still shows authentication failed, send us the whole system log file and we will ask our engineer to help you out.

Thanks for your cooperation.

@Akhilesh401

Hi, as replied to siddeb, please double confirm the username and password again by dialing up on your computer directly, or remove the username and password on the old router, dial up again to confirm if you can still get the connection.

If that proves the username and password are correct, while it still shows authentication failed when dial up on the Archer C20, please send us the whole system log file, and we will ask our engineer to help you out.

@Kevin_Z
i just bought a archer c20 v5 today and I am facing the exact same problem. i reset my old router and used the username and password and it connected to the internet but it fails to authenticate on the new archer c20 router. Can you redirect me to where/how i can contact you(i.e, email or something?) and send you the log?
