Model: Archer AX1500
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.4.6 Build 200628

Hi, I have this router   It is not 1500, but  "Model dropdown" does not show 1900 - C80

I am trying to set my WAN (PPPoe) and IPTV.

Wan PPPOE is OK but IPTV is not working. According to my provider the configuration for IPTV is as follows:

VLAN ID 105

Priority 4

IGMP Proxy activated

IGMP Snooping not needed

The problem is that IGMP Proxy setting is not on my C80 tabs !  I can't find it  so I can turn it on.

Internet is working.

IPTV is not working, it seems I does not get Internet because time and EPG is not updated.

Any suggestions?

@SKR

Hello,

IGMP Proxy is enabled by default and there is no option to disable it.

As for your settings on the C80, please change the LAN port to IPTV but not VoIP, then confirm again:

@Kevin_Z  Hi ! thanks for your reply

That was my fault when taking the Screenshot, it is actually set as "Iptv"

Thanks for your confirmation about IGMP Proxy, that will not be a problem anymore.

In any case, IPTV is still not working.

Lan ports for Internet are working fine.

IPTV lan port  is not working, it seems I does not get Internet because time and EPG is not updated. Its like... "Ok, I am working with VLAN ID 105, but I dont know about VLAN ID 100"

Maybe this latest test would help to understand:

Test based on current posted image configuration (Lan 1& 2 Internet, Lan 3 Iptv)

  • Lan 3 is changed into "internet" -->  The IPTV Decoder (Vodafone Spain) gets time and EPG
  • Lan 3 is reverted to IPTV --> TV  current channel shows images, it works
  • As soon as I select other channel, the image is gone and I can't see anything, no matter the channel

Thanks for your help !

@SKR

Hello,

What do you mean by Deco? Is there any Deco mesh device in the same network? If so, may I know your detailed network topology and how are they connected?

Who is your ISP?

Please send us the whole system log on the C80 and we will analyze it further then update, thanks.

@Kevin_Z sorry, that was a language mistake.

I meant IPTV Decoder (Vodafone Spain)

Network topology is:

Vodafone Spain FTTH ONT - Tplink Archer C80 WAN (PPOE) - 3 ethernet devices (Lan 1 = Internet, Lan 2 = Internet, Lan 3 = IPTV  , according to VLAN IDs shown in the previous image)

The Archer C80 is now boxed and ready for a packet return  because I had no hope  :-(   I will try to get a log before the courier arrives

@Kevin_Z  Hi  Kevin,

I had just unboxed the Tplink again and I have set it up.

However I can't get a log. System log tab seems to only get the boot events but no other events / errors are logged.

Please, any suggestion?

This is the boot sequence (IPs edited)
