Deco M4R vs Deco M4
During set up, from the deco app I see my main Deco is M4R although during set up I for 1 saw M4 and when connecting another deco I did not have M4 as an option. I only had M4R which I connecte to. Both units have stickers which says M4R. After set up I updated deco firmware to the latest version through app.
My desktop computer which is set as a high priority device (with fast roaming and mesh disabled) is connected wirelessly by a tp link wifi adapter to Deco M4R which drops connection every other minuite. I have updated the driver of the, restarted computer but did not solve the problem. It keeps getting disconnected and I have to reconnect every few minutes. Could you tell me as to what is causing the issue and what I can do about it? Unfortunately I cannot make a wired connection.

Hello,
May I have the model number of the TP-Link wireless adapter? How far between this desktop PC and the nearest Deco M4R?
When it loses the wireless connection, can you still see the Deco wireless network on it? How about the signal strength?
It is also suggested to refer to the below article to confirm some basic settings on both the Deco network as well as on that desktop PC:

@TP-Link_Deco Just to let you know the 2.4Ghz single band TP Link wifi adapter may be having signal interfarance with my 2 bluetooth 4.0 adapters for keyboard and mouse and one for bluetooth speakers. Unfortunately creating a wired option is not possible. When bluetooth is off usually interruption reduces significantly and speed is up. Mesh is off for the desktop. Any suggestions?

@Raiden one of my desktop using W832N, i solve the issue by turning off " Mesh Technology Switch " for all of the device that have timeout/disconnection issue. While all of the device are connected with DECO wifi, you will need to go into your mobile deco app and turn the switch off for each of your device. At least this solve all timeout/spike ping/disconnection issue for me. Maybe we will just have to wait for their next firmware to resolve this issue.
Hope this helps.
