Model: AC50
Hardware Version: V4
Firmware Version: 0.9.1 0.2 v009b.0 Build 181213 Rel.55156n(5255)

Hello,

It seems latest version of firmware works incorrectly with frequently changes network load.

I am facing 1-3% packkages lost when channel load is increased.

Steps to reproduce: (for Win 10)

1. Win+R=>cmd=> ping google.com -l 1024 -t

2. Open browser and run speedtest (for my local region)

3. When speedtest has finished check cmd

Actual Result:

Right after load is changed i see 2%, 3% lost packkages.

1. How can i rollback to the previous version of firmware? I found menu option - reset settings, does it impact also firmware version?

2. Could it be router issue? This revision router i mean? Or this particular one?

Hello,

As the released note mentioned, the latest firmware improved the stability and security of the router, so it is suggested to keep this firmware.

But if there is package loss, you may try to change the WAN DNS server on it to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4, then monitor again.

Good days.

Do you remember which version were you running before? You may try to download the previous version from the local website to give it a go, but we cannot guarantee it is downgrade:

Sorry about that.

@Kevin_Z thanks, but unfortunately this method didn't help. It helps in case of slow wifi with TV or game console. But not for router itself.
