VPN Server missing on C80
Hi!
I just purchased Archer C80. When I went to the Advanced admin settings, I was expecting to see the VPN Server option as mentioned on https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/faq/1545/
https://d.pr/i/OgFbW1
However, there's no such option.
Am I doing something wrong or is it simply not supported on this router (even though it's in the docs)?
Thanks!

@EFI_Shell Yep, still waiting.

@Drtic I saw videos of lower models with VPN and ordered this thinking that this is priced higher. It is sad that router at this cost missing that feature.

like everyone else, I am wanting the VPN option.
I understand the official response about returning it to the reseller, but mine (Fry's) shut down shortly after I bought it!
As screenshots in this thread document, the router was advertised as supporting it, so it's absence is considered a defect, and replacement for a functional device should be covered under warranty.
Or if dev team could add the functionality via the firmware, that would be easier for all of us.

Can someone from TP link at least acknowledge that the request is seen? Then a second step would be to either accept or decline, would be great to know what to expect for the short term future.
Thanks

I need that too.
I just bought it today now, after seeing all these I can’t control my anger to destroy the router.

I found another variant of the C80. Archer A6 V3 and Archer A6 V3.20. These 2 models with AC1200 have OpenVPN. The C80 is being treated unfairly and OpenVPN hasn't come to the C80 for months.
Archer C80 (US) and Archer A6 V3 (US/TW model)

@Zer01ne I'm also thinking of switching to models like the Archer AX3200 (including brands other than TP-Link).
