Model: Archer VR900
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 0.5.0 0.9.1 v0069.0 Build 200708 Beta.64424n

Hello There ,

I kindly seek the advise and support to connect my 5G Mifi router ( E6878-370) using a USB cable with my TPLINK VR900....

Currently i was using a 4G LTE connection setup at my house , where i  am using a 4G LTE Pocket router in conjunction with my VR900 ( operation mode-3G/4G Router). Here i only selected the operation mode and connected the pocket router via USB cable . Works simply amazing .

Just yesterday i got a new 5G connection with a 5G MIFI router  and wish to use it in the same way with the VR900 but it does not seem to auto detect the USB router

Any advise would be highly appreciated. Thank you

@Spikezmanny_M45

Good day.

Thank you very much for your time and patience.

Sorry for the delay.

May I know the model number of your 5G Mi-fi router?

Does it only support 5G, or 3/4/5G LTE compatible?

Could you please try to refer to this link and tell me do you want to VR900 able to access internet via USB cable with 5G Mobile Wi-Fi device:

@Sunshine

Hello Sunshine,

Thank you for your reply . The 5G Mifi router model is Huawei E6878-870..and supports not only the 5G network but also LTE /4G / 3G...

since i cannot use the 5G mifi router with my VR900; I  am currently using my old LTE pocket router Huawei E5788 and is working perfectly in 3G/4G operational mode on the VR900

Yes I want the  VR900 able to access internet via USB cable from the  5G Mobile Wi-Fi device.

Thank you once again .
