Model: Archer A7
Hardware Version: V5
Firmware Version: Archer A7(EU)_V5_200220

Hello Everyone,

Yesterday I bought new AC1750-Archer A7 model. the primary purpose was to connect it wirelessly to my host router using WDS bridging using 5Ghz band.

But I am not able to find my host router 5GHz SSID while clicking the survey button. it does show some neighbers router signal, but not mine. In 2.4 GHz band it shows the host router SSID of 2.4 GHz and can connect without any issue.

I am having anothe Archer C60 router and that can connect to my router in both band without any issue.

Can someone please help.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Basically, if you cannot find the SSID of your host 5GHz wireless network, it is suggested to check that SSID is broadcasting correctly and you may try to change its wireless channel to 36/40/44 to give it a go.

Good days.

@Kevin_Z

Here is the snapshot of my host router. its set at 20/40/80MHz.  and the SSID name is also correct. in fact the same SSID can be easily detected and getting connected by the Archer C60.
