Hardware Version: V8
Firmware Version: 3.13.33 Build 130506 Rel.48660n

I have TD-W8961N Adsl modem which I have an internet connection. I would like to extend the wireless signal with TL-WR841 ND router.

 

I have configured router settings as following, however there is no internet connection when I connect to wifi router. Please help me figure out the problem.

 

TL-WR841 ND router configuration:

  1. WPS Status: Disabled
  2. Network LAN IP Address: 192.168.1.200
  3. Wireless Settings: 
  4. Wireless Security: 
  5. DHCP Settings:

 

Status shows that WDS is running

Hello,

 

Please refer to the below guide to reset the WR841N and reconfigure it to connect to the TD-W8961N:

If the internet is still not working when you connect a phone or laptop to the WR841N, please confirm the below details:

1. Check what is the IP address on your phone or laptop.

2. Connect the phone or laptop to the host wireless network of the W8961N, check the IP address as well, and compare the two. If the IP address is in the same IP range and the default gateway is the same, which means the internet should be good, you may try to restart the modem and the WR841N and confirm again.
