TL-WN725N Wifi Adapter Cannot Find my Xiaomi phone Hotspot

My usb wifi adapter seems to have a hard time finding Redmi Note 8 Pro mobile hotspot. It can detect my hotspot sometimes but it is very rare and not reliable. The adapter seems to be working fine with other phone mobile hotspots and my mobile hotspot can be detected as well by other phone or laptops. It seems it is really just a problem with my TL-WN725N and redmi note 8 pro.
Does this adapter have a specific issue with Xiaomi phones?

yes, it is 2.4ghz only
I updated my driver using the link you provided but, still, nothing has changed.
I am using Windows 10, 64-bit
driver version: 1030.6.1201.2015

You probably need to change the AP Band in your Wi-Fi hotspot setting. I also had the same issue with Moto One Fusion+ but changing AP Band resolved it.

@huha Same thing happened with my Moto G8 power lite hotspot. Plz find any solution for this issue. AP band of my mobile is also 2.4Ghz. My Adapter rarely finds my phone's hotspot.

@Nilotpal How did you change it? My phone has default Band of 2.4Ghz and i couldn't change it. My mobile is Moto G8 power lite. I think changing the adapter is the only way.

You could reset WLAN/ WiFi settings on phone as instructed by phone support and see if that helps.
It is recommended to download WiFi analyzer software on phone or computer and check your Mobile Hotspot is on which Wi-Fi channel?
May I know the hardware version as well as country version (EU/ US/ UK etc) of your TL-WN725N, can it detect other 2.4Ghz wifi signals? Can other devices see the signal from Moto G8 Lite? https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/faq/46/
