I have a Archer c1200 Router and have purchased Deco M4 Whole Home Mesh wifi system x 2 units

How can I configure the M4 units as extenders ?

Hi,

You can connect the Deco M4 to the existing C1200 LAN port with an Ethernet cable and set it up as an Access Point to extend the internet. When Deco works with the existing C1200, it is suggested to turn off the Wi-Fi network on the C1200 and use Deco's Wi-Fi network instead to minimize the wireless interference.

Please be aware that Deco can't build a mesh network with non-Deco devices, it can only build a mesh network with the Deco devices.

Hopefully, that answers your question but let us know if you need more details.
