Archer VR2100 - Randomly reboots several times a day.
Hi,
Had the Arccher Vr2100 a few eeks now and it reboots itself several times during a 24hr period.
Firmware up to date and cannot see and kind of schedules in the settings that would reboot it.
The logs do not show anything obvious.
Do i have a faulty device?

Tp-link already replaced my router and got it back to investigate but we see that the last beta firmware doesn't fix the issue aswell :(

@naz_eg I've raised a support ticket with them. Hopefully if everyone does it, they'll do something about it

I raised a ticket with them last week but no update from them. My VR2100 is going back to Amazon tomorrow for a refund.

Kevin_Z The router is still playing up and now keeps on rebooting less frequently but individual devices will lose wifi connections and then have to be rebooted

3 days 18 hours 24 minutes and no reboots. The router's behavior is really Interesting. Sometimes it reboots twice a day, sometimes on every 1-2 days. I can't understand what can cause this.

Exactly the same behavour as mine.. Very bizarre, and its not worth me RMA ing the unit it as every one here has the issue, so it has to be a general build/Firmware defect.

I've downgraded to 1.1.0 0.9.1 v009e.0 Build 200116 Rel.60756n which was previously working for me. It was only after the upgrade to the latest firmware that i started having the issue so fingers crossed the problem goes away.

Posted my VR2100 back to Amazon today. Glad to see the back of it. My second hand AVM FritzBox! 7530 arrived today to hopefully keep me going until a decent Wi-Fi 6 DSL router comes to the UK market. I have to say that I am quite impressed with this little DSL router. There is loads of interesting techinal features and details although it is a bit more difficult to set it up initially. Wi-Fi performance seems rock solid (no pauses/disconnects) and I am hoping to not see another reboot for quite some time!!
