Archer VR2100 - Randomly reboots several times a day.
Hi,
Had the Arccher Vr2100 a few eeks now and it reboots itself several times during a 24hr period.
Firmware up to date and cannot see and kind of schedules in the settings that would reboot it.
The logs do not show anything obvious.
Do i have a faulty device?

My internet has been up for 2 days 7 hours 37 minutes now, but that was over the weekend. It seemed to keep rebooting only during the day time when my other half and I are both working from home. Let's see if it reboots today! I'm just using the last official firmware at the moment.
I do have some One Mesh powerline adapters and I read that these can do weird things to the DSL line so this could potentially be the cause of the reboots. I have moved the main adapter away from the DSL socket so hopefully this makes a difference. If not, they have a DSL compatibility mode which lowers the speed so i'll give that a go if I still have issues. If you're using powerline adapters, make sure they're not close to your DSL line.
UPDATE
I've had no reboots today so it's looking like it could have been the powerline extenders causing my issue. Uptime is 2 days 16 hours 51 minutes and counting

@plasmahal The beta firmware links are posted in the forums or sometimes come by email from TP-Link support. The most recent is available for download from here. https://static.tp-link.com/beta/2021/202102/20210222/Archer_VR2100V1_210219.zip Unzip the file and browse to it from the advanced tools menu in firmware.

@Kevin_Z this latest firmware, 22-02-21, seems to have a similar number of reboots as the 04-02-21 version, but we are seeing packet errors now, which we weren't before. The 04-02 version was much better than the Nov 20 one the router came with, but we are still getting 2 or 3 reboots per day.
