My 3 months old tplink Archer c20 v US router goes extremely hot when working I think almost 50-55 degree celcius . When my room temparature is 30 degree celsius .

Is this temparature is alright for my router ?

It is always hot like under load when there is no connected device . Why it always hot ?

I saw in tplink website its operationg temp is around 40 degree celsius . What causes my router so hot and how can I solve it

Hello,

More advanced features added or are running on a router will generate more heat, so it is normal when the router is getting warm or some kind of hot when it is running with heavy traffics. Please refer to the below guide to place the Archer C20 in a proper location and monitor again:
https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/2606/

If you don't need the internet in your house, it is suggested to power the router off.
