Model: Deco P9
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Am looking at buying a deco P9 and was wondering if I can use other TP powerline products in combination with this to make the most of powerline and mesh. Would I be able to use a powerline unit at the router so I can place the downstairs unit in a better position to spread wi-fi on the ground floor as my router is at the front of the house?

Hello, the Deco P9 is compatible with the powerline devices, you can connect them as below to extend the network:

modem---main Deco P9---powerline adapter 1===powerline adapter 2---2nd Deco P9

However, Deco can only build a mesh network with the Deco, it can't build a mesh network with the non-Deco devices. For more details, please refer to the below FAQ:

May it help~
