Model: TD-W9970
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: Firmware Version: 0.9.1 2.11 v0025.0 Build 170726 Rel.65343n

Hi,
My router wifi is not stable... every half an hour or so it will drop its signal.
Most of the time the solution is to turn it off an then back on.
Internet by cable is very stable, though.

Stuff I did:
1. change channel and channel width,
2. Update the firmware.

3. Run few diagnostics (When wifi is working and when it does not)- see pics below.

I guess I have to give more information but I'm quite a noob. Any ideas of how can I make it more stable?

@My_Wifi

Hi, sorry for the delay.

May I know how long have you had the modem and when did the issue start

And where are you located?

When the wireless connection dropped, did the device still connect to the Wi-Fi, but no internet or the Wi-Fi had already been disconnected?

Please try to change the DNS server on the modem to have a look:

(it is under network>LAN settings>edit>advance)

Thank you very much.

@Sunshine

Hi, Thx for the info.

I haven't used the router for a couple of years...
Set it up this week and the drops started right away.

I'm located in Israel

I changed the MAC address to 8.8.8.8, the problem persists

When the internet connection is dropped device stays connect and in win10 wifi tab I see that warning that there is "no internet".
