Hi all!

I am having some major issues with my TP Link Extender. I am using the WA850RE. I have connected it to my WiFi, but the minute i connect to it, the speed gets cut from the source (55.6 MBPS) to the extenders speed (0.32 MBPS).Just as a trial to see maybe I was out of range in my double storey house, I came and connected the extender right near the main WiFi router and still the speed was the same while the speed of the wifi was still 55.6MBPS. I dont understand what the issue could be? Is the issue in the extender or the wifi? Please help!!

Hi. May I know how far away from the 850RE to the home router, and are they on separate floors?

What is the model number of the home router, is it also 2.4ghz only or 2.4ghz&5ghz compatible？

Could you please help me check the link speed when it is only 0.32m/s on the 850RE, such as:

By the way, do you have any wired computer, and could you please also have a test of the Ethernet speed from 850RE?

And, please always update the firmware of 850RE to be the latest;

If possible, please change the wireless advanced settings on the router, such as channel and channel width on the home router(take TP-Link for example)
