Hi hope you can help

I have a Netgear d700 router modem which carries the adsl/vdsl from my ISP. I bought a Archer C5400x router and need to put the archer in repeater mode. I have successfully got internet via lan cable to lan cable but this is not the way i want to go. I want to be able to share the wireless between the two boxes having zero lan cabling so that the archer can be setup three floors away....any idea's on this
