TP-Link Wifi extender

I cant seem to install the extender properly. We only have a home prepaid wifi broadband.
Tried connecting via Mobile and desktop but both are unsuccessfull.
Kindly assist please.

Hi, sorry for the delay.
may i know the model number of your home router?
After the set up, would the RE and signal light lit up?
Have you tried to check if the wireless password is right or not?
----please try to delete the previous home WiFi and connect with the password again to see if you are able to reconnect;
And if possible, please try to set it up again via tether APP:
