Good day,
may i know the model number of your home router, is it huawei router?
if not the 5ghz of home router, can the extender detect some other 5ghz networks?
How long have you had the extender and is it the first time to set up the extender?

it's Huwai router. I have the extender for few months now but every time I tried it's not working. Other devices are able to find the 5G.
I can see extender showing few 5G from neighbouring houses but can't find mine
router model number HG8145V5
