Folks

I recently bought the AX6000, thinking that I could change my plan with the ISP at 940 Mbps & 480 Mbps.

I have changed the plan, and when I run the speed test of the AX6000, it indicates 940 & 480. The 5G network, standing next to the router, does not give me more than 480 & 480.

I have connected by cable to the ISP, and it gives me the speed indicated, and the speed test of the AX also signals it correctly.

What should I do so that the 5G network gives me the same speed that the AX test indicates?

@Claudio1977 this affects me too sometimes.

Note to TP-link:

Please prioritize performance above all other "non essential" features when releasing new firmware. Most people can live without mesh for example, but not slow performance.

Thanks!

@Imperatorn

My apologies for the delayed response.

Can you confirm if the QoS on the AX6000 is disabled? Try to disable the QoS, ensure it is on the Standard mode, or simply reset the AX6000 to confirm, thanks.

@Kevin_Z for some reason 5GHz now performs good again. I can even get almost 800 Mbps on my Galaxy S8 😮 ❤️

However, I don't know why this is. It try to figure out what did it. I don't know how to disable QoS. But it's in standard mode and I have WMM enabled. If I remember correctly I have set client priority to enabled on all devices also.

Thanks
