Model: TL-WR841N
Hardware Version: V14
Firmware Version:

When I upgraded my Sky Q dual channel modem router, i found that the wi-fi smart plugs and camera I controlled via my iphone no longer worked. I established that this was due to the new modem operating at 5Ghz so I reconfigured it to run a parallel 2.4 Ghz channel. However the set-up procedure on the iphone apps failed - they would only find the 5Ghz channel. So I thought I'd try using a separate router at 2.4Ghz and bought the TP-Link 300Mbps router. But I am struggling to connect it to my network. ANy help would be gratefully received!

Sorry Kevin, still not sure what to do. If I log into 192.168.0.1 I see the Sky modem/router. How do I set up the TP-Link router as a separate parallel network on 2.4Ghz?
