Hey guys,

 

I just bought RE300 extender yesterday and i wanted to connect it to my Huawei LTE Router (B525s-23a from ORANGE POLAND) and I encountered some problems with 5 GHz network. 2.4Ghz network works like a charm, without any problems.

So, It seems like RE300 sees 5Ghz network, cuz it shows it on it's list, but when i try to connect it, it fails. I can see that it tries to connect to it once in a while, it even shows at the configuration page that i finally connects to it and has "GOOD" signal! But it's disconnecting itself after couple of seconds. 

I tried different channels: 36, 40, 44, 48 and nothings changes.

I tried it on different router i own - TP-LINK Archer VR400 and everything is working properly so i guess RE300 is ok in general but probably something is wrong with software on RE300 i guess? 

Can anyone help me, i need to get it working on this huawei router.

Ok so i updated extender with the software you sent me and it's working now :) extender connects to router on 5GHz network on channel 36 (the default i had on my router). Didn't try other channels as this one is working ok :)
