May I know the model number of your home router?

Did you mean the Wi-Fi light is blinking? And how about the 2.4ghz and 5ghz?

Did you set up via WPS, or Tether APP, such as https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/faq/2506/?

 

By the way, when the 2nd LED is flashing, do you have internet from RE300

mesh wi-fi extender

power light stays on. 2nd led only flashes. Won't go solid. 
have followed the instructions to the letter.

@Solla-topee i dont know how to solve it because it resets when when its lights getting properly solid

It looks like your RE have a different problem, and we encourage you to create a new thread.

For ' reset' can you let us know how RE reset and how about the Led on RE at that time? 

Detailed issue description including the TP-Link device model as well as its hardware version will help a lot in addressing the issue, so don't hesitate to provide as more details as you can.
