yes there is an error message when I fail to connect

yes the IP address is static

yes I am using dual-band and having an issue with both

still not working after updating the driver 

@Kathy_Z I have reinstalled the setup, have updated the driver, have moved closer to router, still keeps disconnecting. sometimes disconnects after a few hours or sometimes keeps disconnect after few minutes

1. What is the model number of your home router  = (model = AC5 ) (AC1200 Smart dual-band WiFi router
2. Since you mentioned that there would be an error message when you failed to connect, can I have a screen-shot of the error message?     = if I try to switch to 5 GHz from the 2 GHz channel then the message comes and vice versa 
3. When the adapter disconnected, were you still connected but no internet or the Wi-Fi has been disconnected already and needs to reconnect?                                                                                                                                                                                                            = the WiFi gets disconnected and needs to shut down or wait some time to connect again
4. Could you please refer to this link to check the system info and driver info about this computer,                                                                                         

@Kevin_Z i have not received any mail giving to the solution and i have tried every solution you gave me 

@Kevin_Z yes, it would be helpful. and also had one more problem, the speed I am able to obtain is very low i.e, around 4-7 Mbps speed and at the same location my is phone accessing 24-30 Mbps speed.

I am having the same problem. Windows 10, happening for few weeks now, since I bought the adapter.

The problem is that the connection is just interrupted, the wi-fi turns off. If I click on the internet/wi-fi icon in Win10, it doesn't see any wi-fi network for 10-15 seconds and then they appear again. I am able to connect to the wi-fi immediately after that, but I am losing connection several times a day. This is especially problematic at this moment, when all my work is being done from home and I have bought this adapter in order to speed up the built-in 2.4GHz access to 5GHz which is supported by T2U Nano. 

I have re-installed the driver from the website.
