We recently received some customers' feedback that some particular laptops with Intel wireless adapters supporting 802.11ac cannot detect the wireless signal of our Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) wireless router, while all other devices in the house have no issue connecting at all.

Upon checking some basic information we then found out that the driver version of these Intel wireless adapters is outdated, and the customers also confirmed their issues were resolved by updating the Intel wireless adapters to the latest version.

If any of you, unfortunately, encounter a similar issue as the above, it is strongly suggested upgrading the driver of your Intel wireless adapter to the latest, then it will be done.

This has been addressed on the TP-Link official website as below:

https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/2303/

Intel has also released a FAQ for its compatibility issue, you may check it by yourself:

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000054799/network-and-i-o/wireless-networking.html

*Note: Intel has listed the driver version that supports Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax). Please check the driver version of your wireless adapter:

If you encounter any issues when updating the driver of your Intel wireless adapter, we encourage you to address this query to Intel support.

If you need any further assistance with our Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) Wireless Routers, please submit a new question as this thread will no longer being monitored.

Hey

You can read this article: https://www.heimkinoheld.de/vdsl-router-test/

I think it is really helpfull. They introduce many different Wifi Router and compare them to each other. If you want to know how they work. you can read it there.

And if you are looking for new one, they catched some of the best routers there in a list.

Actions speak louder than words.

@Kevin_Z

Change the frequecy as some of the devices do not catch lower frquencies. If the problem continues then change it.
