Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.2 Build 20200918

I want to give my three Deco P9 and my one M5 fixed IP addresses.

I am using them in Access Point mode with my TP-Link VR2800 router.

I have given them IP addresses using their MAC addresses in IP and MAC binding in the VR2800 but they still use an address given by DHCP from the VR2800.

 

How can I force them to use the fixed IP address I have allocated?

Hello, this seems more like the IP&MAC binding doesn't take effect, may I know which MAC address did you put into the web GUI of the VR2800? Kindly show me the screenshots, ensure you are typing the MAC address printed on the Deco device label.

 

BTW, do you have other devices that have this IP&MAC binding setting on the VR2800? Are they taking effect properly?
