Model: Archer VR900  
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 0.2.0.0.9.1 v0069.0 Build 170303 Rel.59897n

Whenever I try to upload the file the whole internet goes down for the device I'm using and the internet stalls in all devices connected. 

I've got a VDSL line and never had a problem with my connection beforehand. I just bought the device to enhance the signal that was reaching the most distant rooms of my house.

I've seen some thread s dealing with similar issues but it was about the Archer VR900 V2 device so I thought it was better if I started a new one concerning the V3 that I have.

You could try the various firmware updates as advertised for this model here.

@4x3.2x9 latest firmware is installed

You could try configuring the QoS settings on the modem, if you haven't already?

I doubt very much TP-Link will release anymore firmware updates for this model and version.

@ksaefos If nothing works, you could always try to contact the support service directly.
Asking them wouldn't hurt.
