I have good coverage from router downstairs, and from TP extender/adapter upstairs. But why do I have to reselect WiFi signal each time I move up or downstairs? Jorginho.

@Jorginho

Good day.

Thanks a lot for your time and patience.

For the TL-WPA8730Kit, it does not support 802.11 k/v/r protocol what we called fast roaming.

So there be some delay during the Wi-Fi switching and the time length would be decided by both clients and power-line adapters;

But there would be some advice to shorten the time:

  1. Set up the same Wi-Fi SSID and password on the TL-WPA8730kit with the home router;

Thanks a lot.
