May I know how long have you had the modem?
Sometimes the issue would happen when the CPU is almost full at the moment and a reboot or waiting for a while for the CPU release, the login page would display later;
So if you do not mind, have you tried to control the modem via Tether app?

Did you ever get this resolved? I have the same/similar issue. The Archer VR600 is working fine, and then wifi just seems to stop working and I cannot access the web-login to the router, but the internet (hardwired) remains connected with no issues? I have to physically reboot the router to get back to normal operation.
