Archer C80 reboots automatically
Hi,
Recently i bought Archer C80 router and i am facing automatic reboot issue fot the same. When it happens, all LED's of Router are turned off and it restarts automatically.
My router is connected to ONU which is connected to fiber cable.
Initially i thought this issue might be due to connection to VPN but it's happening even if its not in use. My connection type is PPPoE and i don't think there is any power supply issue. I tried to trace this issue without much success.
Can you please suggest what can be the issue here?

Generally, if there is no word mentioning that this firmware cannot be downgraded to the precious version, then you can do it.
While as for the auto-reboot issue, we still want to know more:
1. Please check how is the C80 connected to your network? Are there any other range extenders or switch in the network? If yes, try to remove it first and confirm again.
2. Who is your ISP and what kind of modem are you using? Is it a Dynamic IP setup on the C80 WAN or PPPoE?
3. How many devices are connected to C80, wired, and wirelessly? What are they? Is there any new device connected to the C80 network recently when the C80 begins to reboot? Or did you upgrade any system in the network before this issue happen?
4. Is the power adapter 12 V ⎓ 1.5 A?

@ksuuk ,
I am using latest 1.5.3 only. I tried manually updating with older firmware, it was not happening. You are also still facing issue of restart, right?

No Range extenders nothing.

PPPoE

Nothing connected wired. All are wireless. About 5-6. I have observed many times when new device connects to 5Ghz in sometime it restarts. So I have disabled 5Ghz.
4. Is the power adapter 12 V ⎓ 1.5 A?
Yes, the original which comes in box

With what firmware did You try? I got from support suggestion downgrade to https://static.tp-link.com/2021/202101/20210127/Archer%20C80(EU)_V1_201003.zip with the guide, which I pasted in my previous message.
And my router crashes, drops connections etc.

I got the suggestion and downgrade guide, but I didn't downgrade, instead I got beta firmware, which I'm testing now.

No, this is not beta. What firmware are You using at the moment? I was using v1.5.3, first support suggested to downgrade firmware to https://static.tp-link.com/2021/202101/20210127/Archer%20C80(EU)_V1_201003.zip and if the router does not allow downgrade please reset it to factory settings and configure it again using just "quick setup". Do not upload previously generated configuration file.

You need to provide some basic information, then we can help locate the issue. What is the current router firmware on your C80? Ensure it is updated to the latest version, then you can try to reset it to factory defaults, reconfigure it from scratch to see if it works properly.
Additionally, check and ensure you are using the original power adapter that comes with the box, which should be 12V-1.5A (or 1A as per the router region version):
Archer C80 | AC1900 Wireless MU-MIMO Wi-Fi Router
BTW, when did you purchase the router, and when did the issue starts to happen?
