Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.4.7 Build 200907 Rel.62218n(5553)

So , i bought archer c80 from amazon india . But i was delivered us version instead of eu version which will be normally for india . So does it create any problem when i want to claim warranty ?

Hello,

No worries, as far as I know the Wi-Fi routers sold in the Indian local market will be the US version instead of EU, which is covered by the local warranty as long as you purchase from the authorized resellers/retailers/E-com retailers. There is currently no need for registration, but keep the purchase invoice or receipt in case it will be required.

Good day.

@Kevin_Z

So, is it cool to buy weather US or EU version in India both will work without any restrictions?

@M4D1CI0US

The US regulations allow for higher transmission power in the 2.4 GHz band and the lower channels of the 5 GHz band compared to the EU regulations. The US doesn't have the 2.4 GHz channels 12 and 13, but they have four more channels (149, 153, 157, 161) available in the 5 GHz band.

Provided TP-Link has calibrated the router accordingly, then the US version should give you higher power = more range.

@woozle

So, We can say that it is beneficial to buy US version over EU in India.

Very much so, leaving aside any firmware issues...
