Hi,

I have an Archer C3200 router and I am using the virtual server functionality to allow connection to internal systems from the internet. The problem I have is that once I setup the virtual server every thing works fine for approx 24 hours. Then remote access to my internal servers stops working until I go into the virtual server settings, click on disable and then re -enable. then all works again, but wait more hours and then it stops again until I repeat the process above.

Is there some sort of keep-alive parameter for virtual servers or is there a setting I am missing?

Hello,

 

May I know what kind of service are you enabled this virtual server for? Are those devices getting static IP address from the C3200? Try to set the Address Reservation for those devices first:

Are you able to access the C3200 when you failed to access the local services?

I am using dusckdns on the internet to point to the Archer C3200 virtual server which is defined as protocol TCP. Access from the internet is via HTTPS protocol. The internal device trying to be connected to from the internet is a nginx proxy and that device has a static IP address. I have also ensured that the internal, or destination device has a reserved IP address defined in the DHCP setting of the C3200. 

I only have this service configured and have not configured the C3200 for remote access.
