Model: TL-WN823N
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version:

So Mini Wireless Adapter TL-WN823N is lowering my download but no upload. I tried everything from changing the spot to uninstalling and reinstalling the software.

This is the speed test on my PC and on my laptop, I get 43.82 Mbps download and 21.63 Mbps Upload.

Please help !

P.S. The adapter sometimes just disconnects.

@SleepyBear

Is this TL-WN823N working on a Windows 10 computer? You can try this latest driver and see if it helps:
https://static.tp-link.com/2020/202006/20200601/00015960-RTLWlanU_WindowsDriver_1030.38.0712.2019_Drv_3.00.0032.L.zip

Please remove all the drivers for this adapter on the computer, install the above driver manually: https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/920/.

BTW, what is the model number of the wireless router? You may run a Wi-Fi analyzer on the PC to verify which channel is busy and which is clear for the 5G and 2.4G network, then choose a clear channel on the router, change the 2.4G channel width to 40MHz, and 5G to 80MHz, then reboot both the router and the PC to confirm.

How about the link speed on the computer when connected to the router 5G network? You can check it as this: https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/2265/.
